Katie is a Maryland native, born in Catonsville and raised in Carroll County. After graduating from McDaniel College, she has spent the majority of the past 16 years living in Baltimore County. Her love for Maryland was confirmed after living briefly in upstate New York and southeast Texas. Her top 3 Maryland favorites are the historical buildings with charming architecture, great local wineries, and crab cakes.

Before moving into real estate, Katie worked at a local bank, built around personal customer service, for 15 years. For many of those years, she was the lead teller. That role helped her develop skills to assess and solve problems and to be resourceful to achieve specific outcomes. Her relationship skills from this career, combined with her love of all things "house and home" and the belief that your home should be your safe haven, were a natural path to real estate and helping people find their own haven.

When she's not working, she loves exploring local breweries, getting away for motorcycle rides with her husband, refinishing old furniture, and soaking up the little moments with her two children.
